WFLA Tampa Expands Local News To WTTA
Nexstar NBC affiliate WFLA Tampa, Fla. (DMA 11), will launch News Channel 8 Today on Great 38 from 7 to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday on its co-owned MNT affil WTTA, effective Aug. 7.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to bring local 8 On Your Side coverage to Tampa Bay in a new time period,” said Andy Alford, WFLA VP-GM.
News Channel 8 Today on Great 38 will be anchored by WFLA’s Gayle Guyardo and Marco Villarreal, with weather and traffic on the 8s from meteorologist Leah Spann and Leslee Lacey.
