Dana McDaniel Named WDAF News Director
Tribune Broadcasting’s Fox affiliate WDAF Kansas City (DMA 33) has appointed Dana McDaniel news director, reporting to VP-GM Tracy Brogden Miller.
McDaniel joins WDAF from KTVU-KICU San Francisco where she was the vice president of news.
Previously she was VP of news at WTTG-WDCA Washington and at WJBK Detroit.
McDaniel’s hire marks her return to Tribune Broadcasting, as she was part of the management team that in 1993 launched CLTV, Tribune’s 24-hour news channel in Chicago.
McDaniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Madonna University in Livonia, Mich.
