Entertainment Studios Adds Two To HR Dept.

Entertainment Studios has appointed Denise Wally EVP, human resources and Jeffrey Mayes as VP, legal affairs and human resources, effective immediately. Both Wally and Mayes are based at the ES headquarters in Los Angeles.

Wally comes to Entertainment Studios from Universal Music Group/Capitol Records. She also held human resources positions with Omnicom Media Group, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and Conde Nast in New York, as well as Paradigm Talent Agency in Beverly Hills.

Wally received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from The George Washington University in Washington and her MBA in human resource management from New York’s Bernard Baruch College.

Mayes joins Entertainment Studios from running his own law practice, The Mayes Firm, where he practiced general employment law and provided human resources advice to both businesses and individuals. Prior to that, Mayes was VP of human resources administration and senior employment counsel for The Wonderful Co.— parent company of Fiji Water, POM Wonderful, Teleflora and other national brands. Mayes also held positions at Silver & Freedman in Los Angeles and Swerdlow Florence in Beverly Hills.

He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA, and his law degree from USC Law School.
