Sebbag Elected PromaxBDA Board Co-Chair

PromaxBDA, the entertainment marketing and design trade association today elected Steph Sebbag, founder of Los Angeles-based creative agency bpg and production company Rebel Films, co-chair of the PromaxBDA board of directors, effective immediately.

Sebbag, who previously served as vice chair, assumes his position alongside current board chair Scot Chastain, EVP, affiliate marketing and development at the NBC Television Network.

“Steph is not only a dynamic businessman and founder of a global creative agency, but he is also a fearless creative who consistently challenges the status quo,” Chastain said. “He has dedicated his career to celebrating creative genius – the principle which has guided PromaxBDA for more than 60 years and I look forward to leading the amazing Board of Directors side by side with him.”

As co-chairs, Chastain and Sebbag will continue to lead the board of directors, the governing body that guides the strategic direction and long-term planning of the organization. PromaxBDA represents more than 10,000 companies and individuals working at the world’s leading media brands, marketing and creative agencies, and content providers.

Sebbag founded bpg in 2005, and the agency’s client roster now includes entertainment brands including Netflix, Universal Studios, Warner Bros., NBC, HBO and Hulu.

He is also the founder and owner of LA-based Rebel Films, a commercial production company that represents directors for commercials, and he is an award-winning director himself.
