WDJT Names Natalie Shepherd Weeknight Co-Anchor

Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate WDJT Milwaukee (DMA 36) has added of veteran journalist Natalie Shepherd as its new evening co-anchor. She joins the station at the end of January

Shepherd will join Bill Walsh on the anchor desk for the CBS 58 News at 5 and 10 p.m., as well as the CBS 58 News at 9 p.m. on co-owned WMLW.

Shepherd comes to WDJT from WWL-TV New Orleans, where she was the primary weeknight co-anchor. Prior to New Orleans, Shepherd worked for six years as an anchor-reporter at WFLA Tampa, Fla.

Shepherd started her career in the Midwest at television stations in Michigan, and earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
