Bisi Onile-Ere Upped To P.M. Anchor At KMSP

Fox-owned KMSP Minneapolis (DMA 15) has promoted Bisi Onile-Ere to early evening anchor. Effective Monday, May 6, she will co-anchor the half-hour Fox 9 News at 6:30 p.m. and the hour-long Fox 9+ News at 7 p.m., alongside Tim Blotz.

Since 2017, Onile-Ere has been a general assignment reporter at KMSP. Prior to that, she was a correspondent and fill-in anchor at Al-Jazeera America in Detroit.

Previously, Onile-Ere was a reporter at WDIV Detroit. Before that, she was an anchor and reporter at WJRT Flint, Mich. Onile-Ere began her career in broadcasting as an anchor, reporter and producer at KDLH Duluth, Minn.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Onile-Ere holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
