KIII Names Leslie Adami As Evening Anchor
Tegna-owned ABC affiliate KIII Corpus Christi, Texas (DMA 128), has hired Leslie Adami to be co-anchor of 3News at 5pm with Rudy Treviño, and 3News at 6 and 10pm weeknights with Joe Gazin.
Adami joins KIII from Tegna’s KVUE Austin, Texas, where she has been a morning reporter and fill-in-anchor for KVUE Daybreak and KVUE Weekend Daybreak.
Before joining KVUE, Adami was the weekday morning anchor for KLBK Lubbock, Texas.
Adami attended the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a certificate in Latino media studies.
