Anita Blanton Joins WFLD’s ‘Good Day Chicago’
Fox-owned WFLD Chicago has named Anita Blanton an anchor on Good Day Chicago, effective April 4.
Most recently, she was evening anchor for WAVY Norfolk, Va. Previously, she was the morning anchor at KOCO Oklahoma City. Prior to that, Blanton was a reporter for WRIC Richmond, Va., and before that, KWTX Waco, Texas. She started her career as a reporter for KTXS Abilene, Texas.
A graduate of Hampton University, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism and political science.
