WAPT Jackson Names Brett Schutt General Sales Manager

Hearst Television Inc.’s ABC affiliate WAPT Jackson, Miss., has hired Brett Schutt as its new general sales manager. With a career spanning over three decades in both radio and television, Schutt brings extensive experience and leadership to the station’s sales team.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Schutt graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1992 with a degree in marketing. He spent a significant portion of his early career working in national representation for both radio and television. His career trajectory then saw him ascend through the sales ranks at WSAV-TV Savannah, Ga., and WREG-TV Memphis, where he was national sales manager, local sales manager, and general sales manager.
