Converse Steps In For Departing COO At TVB

The trade group announced today that it has hired Susan Converse as VP, finance and administration. She will be assuming most of the responsibilities of COO Hope Etheridge, who is leaving TVB  to join Doctors Without Borders.

Susan Converse has joined TVB as VP, finance and administration, TVB announced today. She will take over most of the duties of the departing Hope Etheridge, TVB’s COO, who is leaving the company to join Doctors Without Borders. Converse reports to TVB President Steve Lanzano.

“Susan has an extensive background in administration and finance, and we are delighted that she has joined TVB,” said Lanzano. “We thank Hope for her nearly 11 years of extraordinary service to TVB and the broadcast industry. We are somewhat awed by her commitment to her new work in Africa, and know she will be a great asset to the remarkable Doctors Without Borders organization.”

Converse comes to TVB from The Riverside Church of New York, where she was director of administration. 

Previously, she was treasurer and chief financial officer of the Reformed Church in America for 10 years. She also held positions at Societe Generale, Credit Suisse, and JP Morgan.
