Chyron Names Kathy Power SVP, Worldwide Sales

Chyron today appointed Kathy Power to the new role of senior vice president of worldwide sales. In this role, Power will lead Chyron’s global sales effort with responsibility for all aspects of revenue generation.

As an IT industry veteran with more than 25 years’ experience, Power has held executive positions, most recently serving as executive director for More Than Wheels, an award-winning nonprofit organization recently recognized by President Obama as one of the foremost innovative social enterprises in the country.

Previously, Power was VP of worldwide sales, service, and field operations for Avid Technology. Earlier roles include serving as VP of global account sales at Compaq, in addition to serving as Hewlett-Packard’s VP of international operations and VP of targeted accounts.

Power holds degrees from Boston College and Harvard University and completed her executive training at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
