Young Broadcasting gives the top news slot to its former executive news producer who has been serving as interim news director since March.

KWQC Names Beth Marsoun News Director
Young Broadcasting’s NBC affiliate KWQC Davenport, Iowa (DMA 100), today named station veteran and Quad Cities native Beth Marsoun News Director, effective immediately.
The station’s former executive news producer, Marsoun has been serving as interim news director since March.
Marsoun began her career at KWQC as a news editor in 2003 after working there as a news intern in college. She was graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri with a degree in broadcast journalism. The station said it will immediately begin a search to find a new executive news producer.
