Scott Smith To Anchor Sports At WTTG In DC

Scott Smith is joining Fox O&O WTTG Washington as sports anchor for the late newscasts. He replaces Dave Feldman, who left the station last May.

Most recently, Smith has been sports anchor and reporter for KPHO Phoenix. Prior to that, he held a similar position at KOTV Tulsa, Okla., and was a sports reporter and photographer for Cal-Hi Sports Bay Area-KRON/FOX Sports. Smith began his career as a radio host for KRTY-FM in San Jose, Calif.

“I’m extremely humbled and honored to join the Fox 5 sports team,” Smith said. “Not only is it an amazing opportunity at a top-notch station, but it’s an exciting time to dive into the DC sports scene. My wife and I love the culture, history and beauty of Washington DC and are blessed to now call it our home.”

Smith holds a B.A. in mass communication/electronic media from Harding University.
