KELO Ups Kennecke, Adds Bjelland To News Staff
Young Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate KELO Sioux Falls, S.D. (DMA 112), has named long-time anchor/reporter Angela Kennecke as business editor. Her new responsibilities include reporting the latest business news on the air and KELO’s digital outlets including its Back To Business website. In addition, she will anchor the station’s KELOLAND News at Five and Midday in KELOLAND.
In addition, the station named Sammi Bjelland to the 6 and 10 p.m. anchor chair. Bjelland is an Iowa native who most recently was a news anchor in Minnesota. She will join Don Jorgensen on KELOLAND News.
