TVNewsCheck Names Dodson Tech Editor

NewsCheckMedia, publisher of TVNewsCheck.com and NetNewsCheck.com, today named Andrew Dodson to the newly created post of technology editor. He can be reached at [email protected].

Dodson, who is based in Denver and has a background in technology and business writing, is charged with expanding TVNewsCheck’s technology coverage. He will also contribute tech stories to NetNewsCheck.com, which covers the local digital media arena, where newspaper, TV, radio and Internet pureplay companies compete online and on mobile.

In addition to freelance writing, Dodson has held several editorial positions at Advance Communications’ Bay City Times — Mlive.com. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech from Hillsdale College in Michigan in 2009.
