Jerry Penacoli Named WFLA’s ‘Daytime’ Co-Host

Jerry Penacoli former correspondent for syndicated entertainment magazine Extra, has been named co-host of WFLA Tampa, Fla.’s nationally syndicated show Daytime, airing in more than 130 markets across the U.S. He will begin his on air duties on Feb. 4.
Penacoli’s career includes stints as a primetime news anchor for KYW Philadelphia. Before that, he was host and producer of PM Magazine at WTVJ Miami. He began his career at WJKS Jacksonville, Fla., as a general assignment reporter and news anchor.

Brad Moses, president and general manager of WFLA, said: “I am very pleased to announce the addition of Jerry Penacoli to Daytime. Our long standing relationship with Extra and his frequent visits to guest host made him a staff and viewer favorite.”

Penacoli moved to Los Angeles in 1992 to explore an acting career. He landed roles on several daytime dramas, as well as guest appearances on several popular primetime shows.
