WEEKLY SYNDICATION RATINGS ROUNDUP

Downer Of A Week For Most Syndies

More people spent time away from their TVs in the week ending Feb. 17 and most shows were down or flat from the previous frame. Among the few shows posting weekly gains were Trisha and Baggage.

The vast majority of shows were hit with minor losses in the week ending Feb. 17 as PUT levels fell amid widespread preemptions for President Obama’s State of the Union address and the California manhunt for fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner.

Courtroom queen Judge Judy was the highest rated in first-run syndication overall. Dr. Phil was the No. 1 talk show once again. Katie matched its highest-ever non-holiday Monday rating with her Sue Paterno exclusive and won the rookie race for the 22nd straight week, although Steve Harvey, at his series high, was not far behind.

Entertainment Tonight and Wheel of Fortune easily led magazines and game shows, while Big Bang Theory had no trouble topping the off-net sitcoms.

In the household rating rankings that follow, an asterisk indicates a new season high rating; % change is from the previous week; NC indicates no change from the previous week.
