KHBS-KHOG, Red Cross Set Tornado Relief Drive

Hearst Television’s KHBS (ABC)-KHOG (CW) Fort Smith, Ark. (DMA 101), and the American Red Cross in Arkansas will hold a disaster relief drive, Outreach For Oklahoma, today. Funds raised will benefit those in areas impacted by the Oklahoma tornado.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with our neighbors in Oklahoma,” said KHBS-KHOG president-GM Brian Sather. “It is important that we do all we can to support the organizations providing desperately needed supplies and services to those devastated by the storm.”

KHBS-KHOG began asking for donations during 40/29 News Sunrise at 4:30 a.m. At 4 p.m. fundraising cut-ins and news segments will continue on both stations. Outreach For Oklahoma concludes at 7 p.m. The drive is accepting only cash donations.
