The classic film diginet from Fox and Weigel will debut on subchannels of KFFV Seattle; WLWC Providence, R.I.; and KPXJ Shreveport, La., and boosts its U.S. coverage to over 40%.

Movies! Adds Seattle, Providence, Shreveport
Multicast offering Movies! Network has signed new affiliation agreements with the following three stations:
- OTA Broadcasting-owned KFFV Seattle (DMA 12) — Ch. 44.5, also carried on Comcast.
- OTA Broadcasting-owned WLWC Providence, R.I. (DMA 53) — Ch. 28.2, also carried on Comcast.
- Minden-owned KPXJ Shreveport, La. (DMA 82) — Ch. 21.3, also carried on Comcast, Suddenlink and Cable One.
The Providence affiliate plans to launch Nov. 10 followed by Shreveport on Nov. 22 and Seattle on Dec. 10. The addition of these stations brings clearance for Movies! to more than 40% of the United States.
The diginet launched nationally in May 2013 and is a joint venture between Fox Television Stations and Weigel Broadcasting Co.
“We’re delighted to add the classic content of Movies! to our lineup in Seattle and in Providence, Rhode Island. Weigel continues to innovate, and Movies! is a tremendous addition to their industry-leading classic television network, Me-TV,” said Carol LaFever, chief operating officer of OTA Broadcasting.

WRBW {My Network TV ~ PSIP 65.1) in Orlando carries Movies! on PSIP 65.2 and Bounce TV on PSIP 65.3. WKMG (CBS ~ PSIP 6.1) in Orlando carries Live Well TV on PSIP 6.3. Those 3 subchannels have been on for a few months now, and i’m STILL waiting for Bright House to put them on the cable.
