WTHR Adds 30 Min. To Early News, To Start At 4

Dispatch Broadcast Group-owned NBC affiliate WTHR Indianapolis (DMA 26) announced today that beginning Monday Feb. 24, its 13 Eyewitness News Sunrise will begin weekdays at 4 a.m., one-half hour earlier than its current 4:30 a.m. start time.

In making the announcement, Larry Delia,  president-GM, said: “Hoosiers wake up to Channel 13 and for those who need to get up extra early we’re pleased that they will be able to watch their favorite morning show and favorite morning team a half hour earlier.”

To make way for the expansion of Sunrise at 4 a.m., WTHR is moving NBC’s Early Today to its Cozi-TV subchannels (13.2 and 46.1) and on most central Indiana cable providers including Comcast, Bright House and AT&T U-verse. Early Today will retain its 4 a.m. time slot on Cozi.
