WWOR’s ‘Chasing N.J.’ Gets State Recognition

New Jersey’s General Assembly honored WWOR’s Chasing New Jersey on the occasion of its 200th episode, which aired April 11.

The 30-minute topical program, focusing on all things New Jersey, airs weekdays on WWOR New York (10-10:30 p.m.) and on WTXF Philadelphia at 12:30 a.m. Originating from the state capital of Trenton, Chasing covers a broad range of topics and issues, including interviews with local politicians, law enforcement officials and citizens on a variety of issues affecting New Jersey communities.

The assembly adopted a resolution stating, in part, that:

“Whereas, Chasing New Jersey is renowned for its dedication to covering public events and breaking stories across the Garden State;

“Whereas, It is altogether proper and fitting for the members of the New Jersey General Assembly to acknowledge and to salute Chasing New Jersey as an important and praiseworthy news program in the Garden State; now, therefore, … this House hereby honors and congratulates Chasing New Jersey in recognition of its 200th broadcast commends its media innovations and excellence, and extends sincere best wishes for its continued success and vigor.”
