WLNE Promotes Liz Tufts To 5 And 5:30 Co-Anchor
ABC affiliate WLNE Providence, R.I. (DMA 53), has named Liz Tufts co-anchor with Mark Curtis of its weeknight ABC6 News at 5 and 5:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 20.
Tufts has been anchor-producer of WLNE’s weekend newscasts for the past three years.
She joined the station in 2011 as an anchor/photojournalist. A graduate of Emerson College her experience includes anchor-reporter for WSHM Springfield, Mass., and reporter-producer-videographer at KLKN Lincoln, Neb.
