Teresa Gonzalez Joins KXTX For Weekend Weather

NBCUniversal Telemundo affiliate KXTX Dallas-Fort Worth (DMA 5) has named Teresa Gonzalez weekend weather anchor for Noticiero Telemundo 39 at 4:30 and 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Gonzalez, whose first day on air will be Saturday, Sept. 6, joins weekend news anchor Nancy Leal and weekend sports anchor Erik Mora.

Gonzalez joins KXTX from KUNS Seattle, where she was news and weather anchor since 2010. Previously, Gonzalez worked as a producer and morning show host for Azteca America in Eugene, Ore.

She has also worked as a news reporter and producer for KMTR Eugene. She began her career at KEZI Eugene as a producer.

Gonzalez earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism, electronic media, documentary and magazine from the University of Oregon.
