WFSB Hartford To Host Gubernatorial Debate

Meredith-owned CBS affiliate WFSB Hartford, Conn. (DMA 30), will host a gubernatorial debate at the campus of the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford. The candidates, Dan Malloy and Tom Foley, will be debating the issues on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.

Dennis House, WFSB anchor and Face the State host, will question the candidates and serve as moderator.

“An unscripted exchange between candidates offers a unique perspective and this debate is sure to highlight the issues important to voters in Connecticut,” said WFSB VP-GM Klarn DePalma. “Channel 3 Eyewitness News has long been a frontrunner in local political coverage, and we’re committed to continuing that tradition.”
