Meteorologist Eboni Deon Joins WISH Indianapolis

LIN-owned WISH Indianapolis (DMA 27) has added meteorologist Eboni Deon to its WISH-TV Storm Track 8 Team.

Eboni joins the station as meteorologist for its 6, 10 and 11 weekend newscasts. She will make her WISH debut on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m.

After graduating from North Central High School in Indianapolis, Eboni studied meteorology at Jackson State University.

Upon graduation, her first job as a meteorologist was with the National Weather Networks in Jackson, Miss., providing weathercasts for stations in Atlanta, Denver, Miami and New Orleans.

Eboni completed her Master of Science degree in geosciences, with an emphasis in broadcast meteorology, at Mississippi State University, while working as a meteorologist for The Weather Channel.

She later anchored The Weather Channel’s Weekend Outlook, and worked as a meteorologist for CNNI.

In 2010, Eboni moved further south to work for WFTV and WRDQ Orlando, Fla.
