Nexstar And NBC Sign Affiliation Contract

The new agreement extends deals for the 16 NBC affiliates owned or operated by Nexstar.

Nexstar Broadcasting Group has entered into a long-term affiliation agreement with the NBC Television Network which covers 16 of its owned or operated stations.

Commenting on the agreement, Perry A. Sook, Nexstar Broadcasting Group president-CEO, said: “We are delighted to extend our affiliation agreements with NBC in a manner that recognizes the value of NBC programming to our stations and the value that our stations bring to the NBC television network and our local viewers. NBC continues to have great momentum with a solid and successful lineup in all dayparts. With our stations also producing high quality, original, local news and other exclusive local programming, we are delivering great entertainment and information to viewers and an excellent platform for marketing solutions for local and national advertisers.”
