Reporter-Anchor Adrianna Hopkins Joins WDSU

Hearst-owned NBC affiliate WDSU New Orleans (DMA 51) named anchor-reporter Adrianna Hopkins the newest member of the station’s news team, co-anchoring at 5 and 10 p.m. with Scott Walker. Her first day on-air will be in late January.

She comes to New Orleans after spending the past three years at WSVN Miami.  She studied broadcasting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in broadcast communications.

Hopkins earned her first newsroom job as a production assistant at WRAL Raleigh, N.C., then worked as a reporter at WGXA Macon, Ga., and as an anchor and reporter at WHAS Louisville, Ky.
