TUFF TV Launching First Scripted Drama

Combat Report is a World War II action drama that follows an elite team of enlisted men as they fight their way across France. It debuts Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. ET.

Multicast network TUFF TV will premiere its first original scripted drama series, Combat Report, on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 8 p.m. ET.

Combat Report is a World War II action drama that follows an elite team of enlisted men as they fight their way across France in pursuit of a ruthless enemy. These soldiers were called upon to perform special operations before the existence of groups like the Green Berets and Navy SEALs that are widely known today.

Combat Report stars an ensemble cast led by Bob McKeehen (Grimm, Leverage), Grant Alan (Wizards of Waverly Place, CSI:NY, Lie To Me), Brad Schmidt (House Of Lies, Joey, Summerland), and Joshua St. James (Grimm, Leverage, SEAL Patrol).

“What these ordinary men did, when tasked with taking on these missions, was nothing short of extraordinary,” said Thad T. Smith, executive producer and series creator. “While storylines and characters are fictionalized, they are all based on real covert missions and the men who went deep into enemy territory to carry them out.”

“Original programming is what will continue to set TUFF TV apart from most other digital broadcast subchannels,” said Lou Seals, TUFF TV founder and CEO. “Our commitment to acclaimed exclusive content such as Combat Report will increase significantly this year. We’re developing and producing an entire slate of original programming across all of our genres,” Seals added.

TUFF TV offers programming aimed at men, consisting of seven genres including sports, lifestyle, drama, reality, talk, specials and movies.

Combat Report is produced by One Eighty Films, Inc., creators of the World War II drama Everyman’s War

This show seems to have some buzz on the web plus the promo seems to show a well written and edited / acted show.

It was only inevitable that the diginets that are in the Top 15 ranking start to order original scripts & create NEW TV !!! I applaud it !!
