Magid Associates Ups Bill Hague To EVP

Bill Hague has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president of Frank N. Magid Associates’ Media Strategy group, effective immediately.

As executive vice president, Hague will have oversight of Magid’s local media and publishing practices as well as management of the business unit that works with local media properties, such as TV, radio and newspapers.

Hague spearheaded the development of several service offers including Magid’s local advertising effectiveness research efforts. He also led Magid’s major expansion into Canada.

“Bill has been a strong leader both within our company and throughout the industry,” said Brent  Magid, president-CEO. “In this new role, I know he will continue to drive revenue growth for our clients and further establish Magid as the leading innovator in every aspect of local media.”

Hague served as the lead consultant with clients as diverse as the Canadian Broadcasting Co., NBC, McDonald’s, University of Notre Dame, Mayo Clinic and Jacksonville Jaguars among others.

Hague originally joined Magid in 2001 as director of client development with the North American television group. Prior to re-joining Magid in 2005, Hague was VP of sales, Midwest division at KingWorld Productions in Chicago, where he was responsible for all sales management and program distribution efforts.

Past roles for Hague include, SVP of Digital Convergence Corp. and SVP of central sales at Warner Brothers Domestic Television Distribution.
