CoxReps Ups Palmer And Morrow

The rep firm promotes David Palmer to SVP of sales and Jason Morrow to president of TeleRep.

CoxReps today named broadcast industry veterans David Palmer as its new SVP of sales and Jason Morrow as its new president of TeleRep, effective immediately.

Palmer will take on his new role while also continuing to be president of HRP.  He was named president of HRP in 2009 after serving as the SVP, director of sales since 1998. Prior to that, Palmer held the position of VP-group manager in New York after serving in various manager and sales positions in Chicago and Los Angeles.

“This new responsibility will allow David to work more closely with me on behalf of all CoxReps employees, clients and advertisers,” said Kim Guthrie, Cox Media Group’s EVP of national advertising platforms and president of CoxReps. “David is a proven and respected leader in the industry, as well as a strong teammate and leader for Cox Media Group. He will be a great partner as we continue to keep the CoxReps brands strong for years to come.”

Morrow joined TeleRep in 1993 as a research analyst and was an account executive in New York before moving to our Atlanta office in 1998. While in Atlanta he served in various sales and management capacities, most recently as SVP-director of sales.

“I have worked closely with Jason on different company initiatives over the past few years and am confident that he will be a wonderful asset to our senior leadership team at CoxReps,” added Guthrie.  “2016 will be a milestone year with highly anticipated national election spending exceeding $5 billion. Being able to tap the talents of David and Jason for this additional leadership responsibility allows CoxReps to build on our reputation for excellence in the national TV space and play a critical part of what promises to be a record breaking year.”
