Antenna TV Comes To Detroit On WMYD

Scripps -owned independent WMYD Detroit (DMA 13) will begin broadcasting Tribune Broadcasting’s diginet Antenna TV on Feb. 1. Antenna TV will be available over the air on ch. 20.2, on Comcast ch. 286, WOW ch. 197 and Wyandotte Cable ch. 520.

The network features a lineup of classic television favorites, including, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Newhart, Family Ties, Three’s Company, All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Good Times, Family Ties, Doogie Howser MD, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

“We’re happy to partner with Tribune Broadcasting to bring Antenna TV to Detroit area viewers,” said WXYZ-WMYD VP-GM Mike Murri.  “Antenna TV gives us the opportunity to offer our viewers a regular schedule of the shows they grew up watching, and introduce a new audience to some of television’s classic programs.”

WMYD is one of 125 stations across the U.S. that carry Antenna TV.  The network was launched on Jan. 1, 2011 and today reaches 88% of TV households in the U.S.
