NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump says Fox News Channel apologized in their feud leading up to Thursday’s presidential debate in Iowa, but he was still a no-show for the last scheduled forum before voters begin to make their voices heard.

Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, in conversations with Trump, “acknowledged his concerns” about a statement the network had made in the days leading up to the debate, Fox said. But Fox said Trump had demanded a $5 million contribution to his charities in order to appear, which the network rejected.

The network and presidential contender had been feuding since Trump demanded Megyn Kelly be removed as a debate moderator.

Trump was holding a competing event in Iowa that Fox rivals CNN and MSNBC were broadcasting.

Am I the only one that finds it uncomfortable that Megyn Kelly (a moderator of the debate) should also host a show after the debate in which she critiqued each candidate’s performance. Do we really need a moderator to tell us who won a debate? Whatever happened to “we report, you decide”?

So the person who asks the question cannot gauge how well they thought their questions were answered? Interesting concept. Clearly you swallowed the Donald Trump pill.

It would be better if they called candidates out for lies and misstatements. After the fact does not have the same impact. I know Trump won’t like this, but they all need to be called out and told what lying pieces of XXXX they are.

Donald Trump is an egomaniac. He is the scariest individual to ever run for POTUS.

And you don’t find the Clinton family scary? Now that’s scary.

Cowboy, you seem to be one of the many who is falling for Liberal media’s depiction of Trump, when in fact, he is only calling them out for their bad behavior. If you really cared about this country and how much debt we were leaving to future generations and our position in the world you would want someone like Trump badly. Someone who won’t be drawn into the fantastic game being played by the Politicians and big donors that don’t seem to care about the long-term effects of their actions. I for one, am completely tired of the incessant lines of BS coming from politicians who say essentially nothing, but say it eloquently. How stupid would we all be to allow another one of them to run our country?

I DO care about the mountain of debt. I also know what a disaster Jimmy Carter was. Same EXACT sentiment. People wanted someone not from inside the Beltway after Watergate. And it was one of the biggest disaster of a Presidency in the 20th Century, because he did not know how to get things done IN the Beltway. Hello, Donald Trump.
