Allison Harris Joins KDFW Dallas As Reporter

Fox-owned KDFW Dallas (DMA 5) has hired Allison Harris as a general assignment reporter. Effective May 9, Harris will contribute to various station newscasts.

Most recently, Harris served as lead nightside reporter for KOTV Tulsa, Okla. While at the station, she received a regional Edward R. Murrow award for continuing coverage for her investigation, “Shooting Leads to Turmoil in Tulsa Sheriff’s Office.”

Previously, Harris was a reporter and fill-in anchor for KXII Sherman, Texas. Prior to that, she held internship positions at KTEN Denison, Texas, and WRC Washington, and worked for The University of Oklahoma’s daily newscast OU Nightly.

A graduate of The University of Oklahoma, Harris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
