WBTW Names Gittins Weekday Morning Anchor
Media General’s CBS affiliate WBTW Myrtle Beach-Florence, S.C. (DMA 102), has promoted Matt Gittins to weekday morning anchor.
Starting in July, Gittins will co-anchor News13 This Morning from 4:30 to 7 a.m. with Patsy Kelly. He will solo anchor the Fox Morning News on WFXB from 7 to 9 a.m.
Gittins joined WBTW in May 2015 as the weekend morning anchor and producer. Prior to that, he was the weekend anchor and sports reporter for KPVI Pocatello, Idaho.
In addition, News 13 Now anchor Brandon Herring will also assume co-anchoring duties with Nicole Boone on News 13 at Noon.
