KING Ups Jessica Hagan To Director Of Sales

Tegna promotes her from director of market development to lead sales at its three Seattle  properties: KING, KONG and NWCN.

Tegna has promoted Jessica Hagan to director of sales for its NBC affiliate KING Seattle (DMA 14) and all of its broadcast, cable and digital platforms. 

Hagan began her career as a news intern for co-owned NWCN (Northwest Cable News) before a making a steady rise through the ranks of the station’s sales division. 

“Jessica not only has the business smarts and credentials for this position, she is exactly the kind of creative thinker we need to navigate the ever-changing world of media consumption for our advertisers,” said Jim Rose, KING president-GM.

Hagan’s experience with Tegna in Seattle includes various local and national sales roles across all its properties  in the market — KING , KONG (ind.) and NWCN.  Most recently, she spent three years as director of market development.  In that position, Hagan helped shape and innovate successful multi-platform campaigns on behalf of numerous clients.

Hagan received her MBA from Seattle University and her BA from Washington State University and is heavily involved with the Fred Hutchinson Innovators Network and the University of Washington/Foster School of Business Sales Mentorship Program.
