Saga 2Q Television Revenue Grows 4.3%

The company's four full-power and four low-power stations account for $5.6 million in revenue and operating income of $2 million.  

 

Saga Communications reported financial results that included television station net operating revenue of $5.6 million, up 4.3% from $5.3 million in the same period a year earlier.

Television operating income came in at $2 million, up 7.8% from $1.8 million in 2Q 2015.

Saga owns or operates broadcast properties in 26 markets, including four full-power television stations and five low-power TV stations as well as 67 FM and 32 AM stations.

The company as a whole reported 2Q net operating revenue increased 6% to $36.4 million. Net income for the period was $4.8 million ($0.82 per fully diluted share compared to $0.77 for the same period last year).
