ES Networks Now Available On WO Network

Entertainment Studios Inc. (ES) said that all seven of its cable networks and 40 syndicated series are now live on WO Network, WideOrbit’s traffic and ad sales platform for syndicated television shows and cable networks.

Entertainment Studios Networks’ deployment of WO Network comes as it realigns its advertising sales business to pursue and fulfill opportunities from large advertising agencies and brands. Its seven cable television networks are carried by many of the nation’s satellite, telcos, and cable companies, including DirecTV, Verizon FiOS, Suddenlink, Mediacom and AT&T U-Verse.

ES said the selection of WideOrbit was the result of a search to identify sales and traffic solutions for supporting Entertainment Studios’ ad sales team to meet and exceed the proposal, execution, audience delivery, and invoicing standards expected by most media buying agencies.

“There’s no question that adopting WideOrbit is the natural evolution of our television ad sales business,” said Byron Allen, founder, chairman and CEO of Entertainment Studios. “Our cable networks are rapidly adding new subscribers, which means our sales and operations teams need strong backroom infrastructure and the best software to compete for and gain market share.”

“WideOrbit’s WO Network gives us the technology software we need to seamlessly interact with advertising agencies,” said Cindy Kelly, president of advertising sales for Entertainment Studios Networks. “We are now well-positioned to maximize revenue, drive efficient work flows, and improve ROI on all platforms — including linear, mobile and digital.”
