Falco Among NATPE Tartikoff Award Winners

Six honorees will receive their awards at a reception scheduled for Jan. 18 at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.

Five TV executives and one actress will be honored at the 14th Annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards reception at this winter’s annual NATPE conference in Miami Beach.

The six honorees will receive their awards at a reception scheduled for Jan. 18 at the Fontainebleau Hotel.

The actress honoree is Eva Longoria, who became a star in Desperate Housewives. She is a director and a producer, as well as an actress. Among other projects, she was executive producer of the Lifetime series Devious Maids.

The other honorees include Josh Sapan, long-time president-CEO of AMC Networks; Susanne Daniels, now global head of original content for YouTube and formerly president of programming at MTV, Lifetime and The WB; and Randy Falco, president-CEO of Univision and formerly a top executive at NBC.

Dana Walden and Gary Newman, co-chairmen of Fox Television Group, are also being honored.

“Each of this year’s inspiring honorees shares Brandon Tartikoff’s passion and vision for excellence in television,” said Andy Kaplan, NATPE chairman.
