Sony Pictures TV clears its new Judge Maria Lopez in 210 markets for 100% U.S. coverage for its Sept. 11 debut.
Sony Pictures Television’s new court series, Judge Maria Lopez, has been sold to 210 television stations representing 100% of the country for a Sept. 11 launch in first-run, national syndication.
The half-hour daily strip will be hosted by Judge Maria Lopez, the first female Hispanic judge appointed to the Massachusetts Superior Court. Production begins on the series on Aug. 1 in New York City.
Judge Maria Lopez is the second series from SPT that has cleared 100% for fall, 2006. The Shield, which has also been cleared in 100% of the country, will begin off-cable runs on weekends this fall on all 26 of the Tribune stations, as well as on The CW 100-plus and other station groups.
