This year’s class of inductees into The New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame include Nexstar’s Perry Sook, WKBW’s Bill Ransom and WXTV’s Rafael Pineda.
The broadcast industry veteran with more than 40 years of service will leave the Granite ABC affiliate on June 30. Prior to leading WKBW, Ransom was the general sales manager of Granite’s WPTA Fort Wayne, Ind., and president-GM of WTVH Syracuse, N.Y.
