The longtime executives have bought 50% of Mighty Oak Entertainment from Mark O’Brien. Bryan and Ellis have joined the company as president and chairman, respectively.
Roma Khanna, Chris Ottinger, Steve Stark and John Bryan will remain with the TV division through 2016.
John Bryan has been promoted to president Domestic Television Distribution for MGM. Bryan, who is currently EVP MGM Domestic TV, created the studio’s premium channel This TV.
