Cathy Pircsuk, GM and divisional VP of WWNY (CBS)-WNYF-CA (Fox) Watertown, N.Y., announced that she will retire in June. Starting in the news department as a reporter on Jan. 8, 1979, she became the station’s top manager in 1996. She had progressed as a news anchor, assignment editor, news director and station manager. Pircsuk’s 36-year career with WWNY spans almost two-thirds of the station’s 60-year history.
