The head of Media General’s ABC affiliate in Green Bay, Wis., is stepping down at the end of the year after 21 years at the station.

After 40 years in television, the head of NBC’s New York flagship O&O will step down next June. Prior to taking over at WNBC in 2010, Jack ran two other NBC stations, WRC Washington and WCHM Columbus, Ohio.

The head of ABC’s Los Angeles O&O will end his 45-year broadcasting career at the end of January. Prior to joining KABC in 1996, he was president-GM of KFMB-AM-FM-TV in San Diego. He began his career with Westinghouse Broadcasting in 1968 as an account executive at KDKA Radio in Pittsburgh.

The GM of Fox’s Minneapolis duopoly is stepping down after 17 years. She will be succeeded by Sheila Oliver, who’s being promoted from sales director.

Cable pioneer Abbe Raven is set to retire. Her last day as chairman of A+E Networks will be Feb. 2. The news comes nearly a year after Raven’s protege, Nancy Dubuc, was elevated to CEO and Raven to chairman.

Longtime Las Vegas journalist Bob Stoldal has retired as executive vice president of news operations for Sinclair-owned NBC affiliate KSNV Las Vegas. He joined the station “out of retirement” about five years ago at the request of Jim Rogers, KSNV’s late owner.

The trade group’s current EVP of strategic planning will succeed Jane Mago who is retiring after 10 years at the association and 26 at the FCC before that. NAB President Gordon Smith: “NAB is fortunate to have someone with Rick Kaplan’s intellect and Washington savvy waiting in the wings to replace Jane.”

Pat McDonough, a long-time Nielsen executive who was key to the development and oversight of many of the company’s most important media research services, will retire at the end of the 2014, Nielsen U.S. Media President Lynda Clarizio announced in a memo to clients this morning.

Ann Compton, who has covered six presidents for ABC News, is retiring after four decades with the network. Compton, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, has had a career that included being the sold broadcast reporter to remain with President George W. Bush on Air Force One when he was unable to return to Washington after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Jordan has been news director at Cox-owned Seattle CBS affiliate KIRO for the last two years, transferring from Cox-owned WFTV Orlando, Fla. He tweeted that he’s retiring at the end of June.
