Chastity Scott Named GM Of WFXG Augusta

She moves from WVUE New Orleans to succeed Denise Vickers as head of Lockwood Broadcast Group’s Georgia Fox affiliate.

Lockwood Broadcast Group has appointed Chastity Scott the new General Manager of its Fox affiliate WFXG Augusta, Ga. (DMA 112). She succeeds Denise Vickers, who has accepted a role at the University of Florida’s School of Journalism.

Scott brings more than 20 years of broadcast sales and station management experience to her first GM role. Most recently, she was the regional team director overseeing sales at Gray’s WVUE New Orleans and KLPC Lake Charles, La.

Scott stated “I am genuinely pleased to begin this new role and grateful to Lockwood Broadcast Group for giving me the opportunity to oversee its broadcasting and digital operations in the Augusta, Ga. market serving the Central Savanah River Area.”
