The current GM of KWES Midland, Texas, will succeed Mike Wright as head of Gray Television’s CBS affiliates in Waco and Bryan, Texas, starting next month.

Josh Young Named GM Of KWTX-KBTX
Gray Television’s CBS affiliates KWTX and KBTX in Waco-Temple-Bryan, Texas (DMA 89), have appointed Josh Young general manager, effective in January. He succeeds Mike Wright who left in October.
Young is currently the general manager of Raycom’s NBC affiliate KWES-TV and KTXC-FM in Midland-Odessa, Texas.
Prior to joining KWES-KTXC in 2016, Josh spent 16 years at KCBD Lubbock, Texas, including 11 as director of marketing.
Originally from Abilene, Texas, Young attended Texas Tech University.
