Laurie Asin Chosen As KIVI Boise Station Manager

Laurie Asin, who has held a variety of sales roles in radio and television broadcasting since 2000, has been selected as station manager at KIVI Boise, Idaho, taking on a new role at the E.W. Scripps-owned ABC affiliate.

Asin has been at KNIN Boise since 2014, first as local sales manager and then as general sales manager. She worked at KIVI from 2013 to 2014 when it was owned by Journal Broadcast. She has been working in the Boise market since 2005. As station manager, she will help with day-to-day operations and lead sales efforts.

“Laurie is deeply familiar with the station, the marketplace and is well-respected in the community,” said Dean Littleton, senior vice president of local media for Scripps. “She is a great choice to be the leader of KIVI.”

Asin has deep roots in Boise, having graduated from Boise High School and the University of Idaho.
