Shuneca Harrington Named WRAL Sales Director

TV Sales veteran Shuneca Harrington has been named director of sales at Capitol Broadcasting’s NBC affiliate WRAL Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville (DMA 27), effective April 20.

She is joining from WRBL Columbus, Ga., where she led the sales team.

Harrington started her career as an account executive in Raleigh and quickly became digital sales manager before being promoted to local sales manager at then-NBC affiliate WNCN. After 13 years in the Raleigh market, she moved within her company to Portsmouth, Va., as local sales manager for WAVY-WVBT.

Harrington was then promoted again within the same company to become the general sales manager at WRBL Columbus.

Harrington earned a degree in mass communications from Brenau University in Gainesville, Ga.
