Edward Moody Joins WBTW Myrtle Beach As Weeknight Anchor

Nexstar CBS affiliate WBTW Myrtle Beach, S.C., is adding veteran journalist Edward Moody to its weeknight anchor team.

Moody and News 13 Anchor Trish Williford will co-anchor the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. weeknight newscasts.

For more than four years, Moody has been the 4 p.m. weekday anchor at Nexstar sister station WSAV Savannah, Ga.

Regional Emmy-winner Moody has more than 20 years of experience as a news reporter, anchor and producer. Before WSAV, he worked at stations that include WCCO Minneapolis and WXIN Indianapolis.

Moody will fill the positions currently anchored by Patsy Kelly who is leaving WBTW on May 3.
