KDFW Dallas Promotes Brandon Todd To Co-Anchor Of ‘Good Day’

Brandon Todd

Fox Television Stations’ KDFW Dallas has named Brandon Todd co-anchor of Good Day. Effective Aug. 29, he will anchor from 6 to 10 a.m. alongside Lauren Przybyl, Evan Andrews, Chip Waggoner and Hanna Battah. Todd succeeds Tim Ryan who retired today.

In making the announcement, Kathy Saunders, senior vice president and general manager, said: “Brandon is the perfect choice to continue what Tim Ryan has accomplished over his many years anchoring Good Day. Our viewers are comfortable with Brandon and, while he has had the opportunity to learn from the master, he will bring his own style and perspective to the Good Day anchor desk.”

Todd has been with KDFW for 24 years. He spent the first 15 years as a nightside reporter, then in 2019 was promoted to anchor of Good Day from 4 to 6 a.m. and would report for the remainder of the morning show.

Prior to joining the station, Todd was a reporter for WFTX Cape Coral, Fla. Previously, he was a producer at WBBH Fort Myers Fla., and a reporter at SNN in Sarasota Fla.

A graduate of Ball State University, Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications.
