KING Welcomes Meteorologist Craig Herrera
Tegna’s NBC affiliate KING Seattle (DMA 13) is adding to its news team. Craig Herrera will be the new face of weekday evening and night side meteorology beginning Sept. 24.
Herrera comes to Seattle from KCBS-KCAL in Los Angeles where he has spent the last two years as their weekend meteorologist, extensively covering the recent California wildfires.
Prior to Los Angeles, he worked at KGTV San Diego for five years, at KNTV San Francisco for six years and KFSN Fresno, Calif., for three years.
Herrera will be on air during the 5, 7 and 9 p.m. broadcasts.
